Body of missing boy found next to small raft on Lam River

Searching for a 6-year-old boy in the mountains of Nghe An who suddenly went missing
(Baonghean.vn) - The family, authorities and police of Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong) are trying to search and widely announce on mass media but up to now, they still have not found the 6-year-old boy in Boong village who went missing on the afternoon of September 16.
At around 6:30 this morning (September 19), people in Bai Gao village, Chau Khe commune, Con Cuong district were shocked to discover the body of a boy floating under the Bai Gao bridge in Chau Khe commune, about 7km from Boong village.
Through verification, the body of the boy was Ha Van Vuong (born 2013), a first grade student at Cam Lam Primary School, son of Ha Van Phan and Lo Thi Quy in Boong village, Lang Khe commune, Con Cuong district.
Vuong is a slow-growing boy. Due to difficult family circumstances, his parents work far away so he stays at home with his grandmother.
As reported by baonghean.vn, on the afternoon of September 16, Vuong was playing in the soccer field next to his house. At 4 pm that same day, his grandmother went to look for him but could not find him. After 3 days of searching with relatives and local authorities, this morning, the child's body was discovered on the Lam River next to a small raft.
Local authorities and family took the boy home for burial according to local customs.
