Promoting President Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic cultural heritage

On the morning of October 29, in Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly organized the International Conference "Ho Chi Minh's Heritage and Vietnam's Cultural Diplomacy in the New Period".

President Ho Chi Minh - an outstanding diplomat
President Ho Chi Minh - an outstanding diplomat of the nation, the first President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the father of modern Vietnamese diplomacy and the person who directly drafted foreign policy, led, directed and implemented foreign affairs activities, turning diplomacy into a front, making a great contribution to the victory of the cause of national liberation and reunification.
"President Ho Chi Minh is the founder of comprehensive and modern Vietnamese diplomacy, including cultural diplomacy - to create new momentum for Vietnamese diplomacy in the process of international integration" - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Cuong emphasized in his opening speech at the workshop.

Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on diplomacy are a product of the combination of patriotism, national culture and Vietnamese diplomatic traditions, the cultural quintessence of many Eastern and Western peoples and world diplomatic experience.
The great stature of his cultural ideas in diplomacy and his great contributions to the country's culture and human culture have been recognized by the whole world.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa affirmed: In his life and career, besides his concerns about the path to national salvation and the development of the entire people, President Ho Chi Minh always reserved extremely sacred and deep feelings for his homeland Nghe An.
Therefore, before passing away, in addition to the sacred Testament that he left for the entire Party and people, on July 21, 1969, he also sent a private letter to the Party Committee and people of Nghe An.
Imbued with his thoughts and advice, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An will try their best to build Nghe An province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming one of the better provinces in the Northern region as directed by the Politburo in Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW and as Uncle Ho always wished during his lifetime.
Affirming the value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology
The delegates' comments focused on three topics: President Ho Chi Minh with the world's people and the world's people with President Ho Chi Minh; Promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh's heritage to promote relations between Vietnam and other countries; Proposing solutions to honor President Ho Chi Minh, promote Ho Chi Minh's heritage and the country's image in the next period. At the same time, the delegates shared experiences in cultural diplomacy to enhance the country's position.

The presentations assessed the significance and impact of the forms of honoring President Ho Chi Minh abroad in promoting relations between Vietnam and host countries; affirming the world's recognition of the ideological, moral and style values of President Ho Chi Minh in today's era.
Evaluate the effectiveness of cultural diplomacy activities in introducing the country, culture and people of Vietnam through the image of a typical Vietnamese person, specifically Ho Chi Minh.
This is a meaningful activity in the series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the implementation of the Testament and towards the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh; contributing substantially to the summary of 10 years of implementing the Project "Honoring President Ho Chi Minh, Hero of Vietnamese National Liberation, Outstanding Cultural Celebrity Abroad".

The workshop also continued to affirm the world's recognition of President Ho Chi Minh's ideological, moral and stylistic values in today's era.
