"Promoting the role of women in social supervision and criticism"

Being introduced by the Provincial Election Committee to run for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term in Yen Thanh district, I am deeply aware that this is a great honor for me. In order to fulfill my responsibility, I need to constantly cultivate and train my moral qualities, improve my working capacity to be worthy of the trust that the organization and the people have placed in me.

If I am supported and elected by voters as a representative of the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term, I promise:

Firstly: I will fulfill my responsibilities as an elected representative, representing the will and aspirations of the people. Fully exercise the responsibilities and powers of a People's Council representative according to the provisions of law. Closely contact voters; listen to and honestly summarize voters' opinions and recommendations on various fields to propose to the Provincial People's Council to consider and decide on policies and strategies to improve the quality of people's lives, ensuring their legitimate rights and interests.

Second: Make efforts with the leadership, the Standing Committee, and the Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union to research and propose specific and practical solutions to gather and mobilize women of all walks of life to participate in patriotic emulation movements, effectively implement the policies of the Party and the State; strengthen the role of women's organizations in social supervision and criticism, and contribute to building a strong political system.

Third: As a representative of the provincial Women's Union participating in local state power agencies, I will pay attention to recommending and proposing to the People's Council and People's Committee policies and solutions to better implement gender equality work; work for women's advancement; vocational training, job creation for rural workers; poverty reduction, environmental protection, food hygiene and safety; effectively implementing social security policies, especially policies for people with meritorious services, people with disabilities, and policies for grassroots cadres.
