(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 29, in Vinh City, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated with the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to organize a training conference on environmental protection communication skills and flood response for youth volunteer team members of the North Central provinces in 2016.

Representative of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union delivered the opening speech at the training conference.

During the 2 days of June 29-30, delegates received the content of the topics: Communication skills and solutions to participate in handling and overcoming environmental pollution, responding before, during and after storms and floods of the Youth Union organizations of the North Central clusters.

Youth volunteer team members of the North Central provinces received topics at the conference.

Participate in discussing effective solutions and models of the Youth Union in responding to storms and floods in the Central provinces. Solutions to respond before, during and after storms and floods in the North Central region. Introduce some energy-saving technology solutions to respond to climate change and protect the environment.

TThrough the training conference, the Youth Union members and youths will be equipped with basic knowledge and skills on environmental protection communication, response to natural disasters, storms and floods. Thereby, raising awareness, responsibility, promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in environmental protection, response to storms and floods; contributing to promoting volunteer activities for community life in the locality.
