Achieved results but quality is not sustainable

In the introductory report, comrade Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that after 20 years of implementation (2000-2020), atNghe An provincehas achieved many remarkable results, becoming a large mass movement, penetrating deeply into all areas of social life, contributing to setting examples of good people, good deeds, improving the spiritual and material life of the people.

At the grassroots level, the implementation of democratic regulations, village covenants and conventions has been ensured, and people have responded to the movement to build a civilized lifestyle. However, the effectiveness and quality of cultural titles achieved in some localities are still low and not really sustainable; the movement to build emulation titles in some localities has not received due attention, the proactive and creative spirit of the people in participating in building cultural titles is not high.

Social evils are still complicated, especially drugs, gambling, superstition, domestic violence, and child trafficking, which still exist and affect the quality of life.cultural lifeat the grassroots. The spiritual life of people in particularly difficult communes is still poor, the system of cultural institutions and facilities serving cultural activities is still lacking...

The workshop gathered 40 presentations revolving around the issues: Theory on building and developing grassroots cultural life,cultural preservationin building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. Solutions to improve the quality of cultural titles, promoting practical effectiveness in the period 2021-2025.

The presentation "Promoting the role of village covenants and conventions in building ethics, lifestyle, preserving and developing good traditional cultural values ​​of the community" by Mr. Lo Thanh Nhat - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district also attracted the attention of the delegates.
