Approval of Vocational Education - Employment and Labor Safety Program

The target program on Vocational Education - Employment and Labor Safety for the period 2016 - 2020, recently approved by the Prime Minister, will support 600 small and medium-sized enterprises to effectively apply the labor safety and hygiene management system.

The target program on Vocational Education - Employment and Labor Safety is implemented from 2016 to 2020 with a total implementation cost of 14,024 billion VND.

The program includes 3 component projects: Project 1 - "Innovation and improvement of vocational education quality"; Project 2 - "Development of labor market and employment"; Project 3 - "Enhancement of occupational safety and hygiene".

The overall objective of the Program is to support the development of vocational education; promote the development of the labor market; improve the efficiency of labor supply and demand connection; create jobs, increase labor export, labor safety and hygiene to meet the requirements of national construction and development and international economic integration; promote sustainable employment associated with increased labor productivity, improved working conditions, increased income and prevention of occupational accidents.
