The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested Nghi Loc to ensure the correct roadmap for merging communes and hamlets.

On the morning of July 17, the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District Party Committee held a conference to review Party building work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2019. In the first 6 months of 2019, Nghi Loc District Party Committee achieved many important results. Production value reached over 6,795 billion VND, up 15.1% over the same period last year. Economic growth rate reached 13.13%. Budget revenue reached over 188 billion VND, equal to 89.5% of the estimate.

Site clearance work has basically been on schedule. Administrative reform has seen many changes. Political security and social order and safety have been ensured. Party building and political system building have received attention and achieved positive results, especially in implementing Resolution 6 of the 12th Party Central Committee.

At the conference, representatives of Party organizations discussed the results achieved, and pointed out difficulties and obstacles in a number of areas, especially in the leadership of new rural construction and the implementation of merging communes and hamlets, and streamlining the staff.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee and people of Nghi Loc district in the past time; at the same time, he emphasized 4 key tasks that Nghi Loc Party Committee needs to focus on leading in the coming time, in which he especially noted that Party committees at all levels actively implement Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (12th term) on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, operate effectively and efficiently". Acknowledging the recommendations on difficulties in merging communes and hamlets, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed that this is a difficult task, the province has now given a roadmap for this issue, and requested Nghi Loc district to focus on implementing it effectively.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committees and authorities at all levels of Nghi Loc to review and thoroughly handle outstanding, urgent and complicated issues that have arisen. In addition, it is necessary to proactively prepare personnel for the grassroots Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term in accordance with the spirit of Directive 35 of the Politburo.
