Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee: Continue to innovate political theory training and fostering

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the leaders of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; departments, branches and sectors at the provincial, district, city and town levels.

On behalf of the Provincial Political School, there were comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Principal of the Provincial Political School; officers, lecturers of the Provincial Political School and more than 200 students of the 2019 - 2020 course attending the opening ceremony.

Innovation in teaching methods

The opening speech of the new school year presented by Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Principal of the Provincial Political School affirmed: In the 2018 - 2019 school year, the school continued to strongly and comprehensively innovate training activities, fostering staff, scientific research and achieved many outstanding results.

Implementing Regulation No. 09 of the Party Central Committee on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of provincial-level Political Schools, the school has coordinated with relevant units to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue regulations and projects related to training and fostering of cadres.

The school has directly organized and coordinated training and fostering of 94 classes with 6,829 students (an increase of 7 classes compared to 2017) with many types of training and fostering, flexible in organizing concentrated, non-concentrated, and after-hours classes to promptly meet the training and fostering needs of cadres, organizations, agencies and units.

Management of training activities is enhanced, focusing on each stage and step according to regulations; actively innovating teaching methods, so the quality of teaching and learning is increasingly focused on and improved.

Update new knowledge for staff

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized: The 2019-2020 school year began in the context that the entire provincial political system is focusing on and making efforts to successfully implement the targets of the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, preparing the necessary conditions to organize the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

At the same time, our province has been actively implementing Central Resolution 6 and Central Resolution 7 (term XII), which clearly define:"Strengthen political and ideological education, improve revolutionary ethics for cadres, party members and the younger generation; closely and effectively combine training with practical training... Strictly implement the regime of studying, fostering political theory and updating new knowledge for cadres, especially young cadres trained abroad".

Therefore, to contribute to the successful implementation of the set goals,The Provincial Political School is responsible for continuing to innovate and improve the quality of training and fostering political theory for leaders and managers, actively contributing to the completion of the targets on training and fostering cadres identified in the Resolution and socio-economic development plan for the period 2016 - 2020.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial Political School to continue to do a good job of advising the Provincial Party Committee on training and fostering cadres to meet the requirements of cadre standards in the new situation, contributing to preparing qualified personnel with quality standards for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

The school needs to rearrange the organization of faculties, departments, staff, and lecturers to ensure requirements, science, and suitability, actively implement solutions to build, develop, and improve the quality of the team of lecturers, leaders, and managers to meet standards, truly both "red" and "specialized".

Along with that,Strongly innovate training and fostering activities towards improving quality, linking theory with practice; training and fostering according to cadre titles, leadership and management titles as required. At the same time, focus on improving the quality of scientific research activities, summarizing practices; pay attention to the work of building Party organizations in schools.

For students, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that they must thoroughly grasp the sense of discipline, spirit and attitude towards learning, determine the right motivation and learning tasks, actively research to expand and improve understanding and awareness of political theory, management and leadership methods and skills to reap useful and practical results, on that basis to work better and better complete assigned tasks.
