Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council gives Tet gifts to the poor in Dien Chau district
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Secretary to support and help the poor to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2018, on the afternoon of February 5, Comrade Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council went to Dien Loc commune (Dien Chau) to visit and give Tet gifts to the poor.

According to the local government's report, in recent years, Dien Loc commune has paid much attention to poverty reduction and supported families in especially difficult circumstances; the whole commune currently has 32 poor households.
Directly presenting Tet gifts to 20 poor households in Dien Loc commune, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien wished the poor households a happy and warm Lunar New Year; at the same time, she hoped that the poor households would continue to overcome poverty, creating a good environment and conditions for their children to grow up.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also requested that the local government, in addition to continuing to propose positive solutions to promote socio-economic development, mobilize all social resources to help poor households escape poverty sustainably, striving to have no more poor households in the near future.
