Entering the conference, delegate Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the results of the 6th session of the 14th National Assembly.

At the conference, residents in the coastal town of Cua Lo were excited about the changes in the country, especially after following the 6th session of the 14th National Assembly. Voters highly agreed with the laws and bills passed by the National Assembly. This shows that the law-making of the legislative body is increasingly closely following people's lives, meeting the objective requirements of the development trend.

In addition, voters in Cua Lo town also expressed concerns about corruption, waste, and negative manifestations, especially among leaders of state agencies. Voters were also concerned about the complicated and increasingly sophisticated situation of drug crimes and social evils; environmental pollution was widespread and there were no strong enough solutions to overcome it. Therefore, voters hoped that National Assembly deputies would clarify related issues, and at the same time reflect and propose to the National Assembly and state management agencies to ensure the stable and sustainable development of the country.

In response to this reality, the National Assembly passed the Law on Anti-Corruption at its 6th session. Accordingly, this law not only applies to organizations and individuals in state agencies but also extends its scope to subjects outside state agencies.

Delegate Nguyen Thanh Hien also said that to contribute to pushing back corruption, waste and other negative manifestations, at the 8th Conference - the 12th Party Central Committee passed the Regulation on exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, first of all members of the Politburo, Secretariat and Central Committee.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also discussed some issues related to the health sector that voters are interested in. Regarding some other issues, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien will present to the National Assembly the issues that voters have proposed and reflected.
