Leaders of Cua Lo town reported to the Deputy Prime Minister and members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the results achieved in 2015, development orientations for 2016 and preparations for the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

Cua Lo Town proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee pay attention to urging Vingroup to soon implement the project of hotel complex, entertainment area and resort villas in Cua Lo; Speed ​​up the progress of the project to expand the administrative boundaries of the town; Propose that the province lend capital to the town from ADB bank to speed up the progress of the project to upgrade urban infrastructure for coastal tourism; Speed ​​up the construction of Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard and deploy the construction of Ben Thuy 3 bridge connecting Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town with Xuan Hoi commune, Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh; The town also proposed that the Central Government pay attention to supporting capital sources to implement projects such as supplying electricity, clean water to Ngu island, and wastewater treatment phase 2.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the town in carrying out its tasks. The town also needs to focus on well implementing the preparation work for the election of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016 - 2021 term and the targets and tasks set out in 2016.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue acknowledged the achievements that the Party Committee and people of Cua Lo Town have achieved in recent times; at the same time, suggested a number of issues for Cua Lo to take care of the tourism environment; strengthen links with other economic sectors for mutual development; pay attention to businesses and household economies; have policies to encourage and attract investors to the town. Regarding the town's recommendations, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to review and report to the Government's working delegation during the meeting with Nghe An Province on May 9.
