Lieutenant General Le Chiem highly appreciated and commended the results of the implementation of the tasks of the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard in the first 6 months of 2015, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development and strengthening of national defense and security in the province.
He noted and pointed out a number of key tasks that the provincial armed forces need to focus on performing well in the coming time: Continue to grasp the local situation, especially the border, islands, and neighboring Lao provinces to promptly advise and handle situations, not to be passive and surprised; Survey the coordination and implementation of Decree 77 of the three forces of the police, military, and border guards to advise the Ministry of National Defense on policies and solutions for close guidance; Focus on the construction of defense works, combat works at the provincial and district levels, prioritizing key and important areas; Improve the quality of force building work, including the standing force, militia, and reserve forces, paying special attention to surveying the practical results of military party cells in communes, wards, and towns, the results of regular militia forces in key areas, etc.
