Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission surveyed in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 23, the Central Economic Commission's working delegation led by Comrade Cao Duc Phat, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, conducted a field survey at TH Food Joint Stock Company in Nghia Dan district and the current situation of land accumulation and concentration in agricultural production in Dien Chau district.
Also attending were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches: Natural Resources - Environment, Agriculture - Rural Development, Cooperative Union, leaders of Nghia Dan and Dien Chau districts.

The delegation visited the clean vegetable production process in the greenhouse of TH Milk Group. Currently, the company has 8 greenhouses, with an area of 4 hectares, providing the market with 2 - 3 tons of clean vegetables of all kinds every day. |

In Dien Chau district, comrade Cao Duc Phat and the delegation surveyed some models of agricultural land accumulation and concentration in Dien Hong commune. They met with the family of Mr. Nguyen Van De, Trung Hong hamlet, Dien Hong commune, who has contracted 4 hectares of land from other families to develop pig and fish farming.
With many years of experience in raising livestock, Mr. De's family has now earned over 1 billion VND in profit on this accumulated land area.
Dien Hong Commune is the locality with the largest area of land accumulated by people and developed agricultural economy in Dien Chau district, with 40 hectares of ineffective agricultural land, contracted by 20 households.

Currently, in Dien Chau district, 33/39 communes have implemented the land accumulation policy, with an area of nearly 1,000 hectares. Economic efficiency shows that on average, 1 hectare of accumulated land brings in a profit of about 200 million VND/year, equal to the economic development of farms and family farms.
This afternoon, the Central Economic Commission delegation worked with the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the issue of land accumulation in Nghe An province.
