Coordinate propaganda on military and defense tasks in Military Region 4
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 5, the Political Department of Military Region 4 and information and communication agencies in 6 provinces of the North Central region held a conference to coordinate propaganda on military and defense tasks of the Military Region's Armed Forces in 2018.
Attending the conference were Major General Tran Vo Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Major General Tran Minh Thanh - Political Director of Military Region; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Department of Information and Communications of 6 provinces; Party Newspaper agencies, Radio - Television Stations of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien - Hue provinces.

Over the past years, the coordination of propaganda activities on military and defense tasks in Military Region 4 has been closely coordinated by the Political Department of the Military Region with the Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications; Newspapers, local and central radio and television stations stationed in the area to maintain order and effectiveness in line with the characteristics of the military and defense tasks of agencies, units, localities and schools.
Through propaganda activities, we have educated and oriented the ideology of cadres, soldiers and people, consolidated the Party's ideological position in the Military Region's armed forces, created a strong vitality, and enhanced the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people.
From 2016 to present, local and central press agencies in Military Region 4 have published and broadcast more than 10,000 news, articles, photos, reports, and special topics on the activities of the Military Region's armed forces and local armed forces; Provincial radio and television stations have received and broadcast 74 Military Region television programs. Military Region 4's newspaper and television have published 88 issues, including 1,500 news, 385 articles, and 396 photos on the activities of 6 provinces in the area.

In the coming time, the Political Department of Military Region 4 and local press agencies will focus on widely disseminating the results, achievements, and experiences of training, exercises, and combat readiness; building a national defense foundation, a national defense posture associated with a people's security posture, combining economy with national defense; and building a strong defense zone.
Promote in-depth and comprehensive propaganda of the results of implementing the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels in conjunction with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers".
On this occasion, the Military Region 4 Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 7 individuals with many achievements in performing military and defense tasks of the Military Region's Armed Forces in 2016 - 2017.
