It is now the time when primary and secondary school students rush to complete their final exams. Some schools have already completed these important exams. Many parents are tired of having to work with their children and memorize long outlines.

Regarding the pressure of exam season, Ms. Hoang Bich (Van Dien - Hanoi) said: "My child is in 7th grade this year, the final exam is coming up so for the past three weeks, my whole family has had to study with him.

Many times I think about my child and feel so sorry for him but don't know what to do: In the morning he goes to regular classes in class, in the afternoon he goes to extra classes at the teacher's house, and he takes extra classes at school and doesn't come home until dark.

When I got home, I took a shower, ate dinner, and then worked hard to prepare for the exam. The outlines for 9 subjects, each subject had more than ten questions. The most shocking thing was my nephew's Biology outline, it was 16 questions long, and took up nearly ten pages.

Every day, my child is busy working on the outline until after 11pm and still hasn’t finished. I know it’s against the rules, but I have to “bend the rules” and work on the outline with my child even though my handwriting and his are not the same. After finishing the outline, I have to memorize it to prepare for the exam. So every day, my parents take turns struggling with the exam season with their child.”

Khanh A. (a student at Van Dien Secondary School) shared: “Exam season is also hard, but having my mother study with me makes me happy. The outline is long but I still have to try to do it all and memorize it because I am afraid of getting a bad score. Besides, before the exam, my teacher also gave an oral test in class. All my classmates memorized it, if I didn't memorize it and got a bad score, I would be very embarrassed.”

When asked how much time he spends studying in class and at home each day, this student said he studies in class in the morning, goes to extra classes in the afternoon, and studies with his mother at night, sleeping only 6 hours a day.

Sharing about the difficulties and hardships of parents and students, a teacher at a secondary school in Hanoi said: “As a teacher, I understand the hardships of students during this exam season more than anyone else. I really want to help them reduce pressure and hardship, but I myself also have to face a lot of pressure. Pressure because of the achievements of the students I teach, pressure because of the number of good and excellent students in each class.

Then at the end of the year, there are the outlines, checking the outlines, entering the grades, and grading the tests. I myself sometimes feel "suffocated" by the atmosphere of exam season, but I don't know what to do, so I just try my best."
