Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 10, heavy rain is expected in Nghe An province today and tomorrow (September 28th and 29th). In light of this situation, the Department of Education and Training has announced that all schools in Nghe An province will be closed.
On the morning of September 28th, in an interview with Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of the Office of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training - stated: Due to the impact of the storm, the Department of Education and Training has decided that all schools in Nghe An province will be closed tomorrow morning, September 29th, to ensure absolute safety for all schools.

Regarding Typhoon No. 10, yesterday, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training issued a document to the heads of units under the Department of Education and Training; and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards, directing schools located in their areas to strictly implement the contents of Official Letter No. 2782/SGD&ĐT-VP&TT dated September 23, 2025, from the Department of Education and Training and other directives from competent authorities.
In addition, it is necessary to strictly implement 24/7 duty rosters and closely monitor the developments of storms and floods in order to proactively develop plans to be ready to respond.Typhoon No. 10.
At the same time, conduct thorough reviews of vulnerable areas, promptly identify potential safety risks, especially in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, deep flooding, and areas downstream of hydropower plants, in order to proactively develop timely response plans.

During the process of flood and storm prevention, the role and responsibility of the unit's head in directing and implementing disaster prevention measures must be emphasized. Absolutely no passive or unexpected response is allowed, especially regarding the risk of flash floods and landslides, in order to ensure the absolute safety of the lives of staff, teachers, employees, and students, and to minimize damage to property and school buildings.
