Anh Son women are excited about the contest 'Women with population and development work'

On the morning of April 27, the Department of Population - Family Planning in coordination with the Provincial Women's Union - Medical Center - Women's Union of Anh Son district organized the contest "Women with population and development work" with the theme: "Connecting love - full of happiness".

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023) and the 200th anniversary of the name Anh Son and the 60th anniversary of the district's separation.

The contest had the participation of 3 teams from 3 communes of Hung Son, Tam Son, Thanh Son with the form of exchange, learning, and showing creative talents.

In this competition, the teams will go through 3 rounds, including the first round is the greeting round with the purpose of "Introducing and getting to know each other". The second round is the knowledge round with the message "Understanding and sharing". The third round is the talent - creativity round with the theme: "Full of happiness".

Interspersed between the competitions is the exchange between the three teams' fans with the theme "Connecting love - Deepening solidarity".

Through the contest, the aim is to create a playground and opportunity for healthy, useful and practical exchange for women in the area and meet the requirements of population and development work in the spirit of Resolution 21-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the Central Committee "On population work".Populationin the new situation".

At the same time, it contributes to raising the understanding of women members and people about the policies and laws of the Party and State on population work in the new situation.

Thereby, it also affirms the role, responsibility and contribution of women to family and society, providing knowledge and skills on reproductive health care - family planning, contributing to improving the quality of life, promoting gender equality, reducing gender imbalance at birth in Anh Son district in particular and Nghe An province in general.
