PV:Dear comrade! After more than 2 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress and more than half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Women's Congress, what activities and results are you truly satisfied with?
Comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa:On the basis of closely following the targets and tasks set out during the term, in conjunction with the actual conditions and key political tasks of the locality, women's unions at all levels in the province have concretized and implemented many movements, campaigns, breakthroughs, and key contents suitable for each locality and unit.
Notably, the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union was responded to by the Provincial Women's Union with a large movement "Building Nghe An women of the new era: with knowledge, morality, health, aspiration to rise up; responsible for themselves, their families and the Fatherland".

Accordingly, at each level, the Women's Union also concretizes the movement into criteria that are close to the reality of the locality and unit in order to change thinking, especially arousing the mettle, will of self-reliance, self-reliance, and aspiration of women; contributing with the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province to realize the "Aspiration to rise" in the spirit of Resolution 39 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" has been innovated and spread by all levels of the association with a total of 2,123 projects and tasks being implemented. Such as the projects "Green tree border/new rural flower road", "Women's tree row", "Bright, green, clean, beautiful road", "Bright electric road"; models "Family of 5 no's, 3 clean", "Family of 5 yes's, 3 clean", "Households adjacent to clean houses, clean alleys, beautiful gardens", "Building flower beds to remove garbage spots", "Adjacent model gardens", "Safe countryside for women and children", "Taking on abandoned fields to raise funds", "Green fields of 3 no's"...
These practical actions have contributed to the results of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas in the whole province, with 319/411 communes meeting new rural standards, of which 83 communes met advanced new rural standards, 12 communes met model new rural standards; 8 districts completed and met new rural standards.

The programs “Godmother - Connecting Love”, “Accompanying Women in Border Areas”, mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties, etc. continue to be effectively implemented. Up to now, women’s associations at all levels have sponsored and connected to sponsor 2,143 orphans; mobilized donations and called on benefactors to support the construction of 189 new shelters and the repair of 187 shelters, with a total cost of more than 10 billion VND.
Activities to support women in economic development, business, successful start-ups and sustainable poverty reduction have seen many innovations and improvements. In the first half of the term, the association at all levels supported the connection of 616 ideas to access capital sources with more than 34 billion VND; supported capacity building for 3,117 women who are business owners, cooperative managers, cooperative groups, and business household owners; organized vocational training and introduced vocational training for 24,989 female workers, of whom 18,136 have jobs; supported 2,297 households with women to escape poverty and near-poverty.

In the first half of the term, the association at all levels continued to innovate and be creative in performing its functions of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women; participating in Party building and government building. The focus is on promoting activities of monitoring, criticizing, advising and proposing policies related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women, children, families and gender equality; providing legal advice and assistance on marriage and family, land and social issues related to women and children, especially victims of domestic violence, victims of trafficking and unsafe migration.
During the half-term, the Provincial Women's Union advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue two projects: "Propaganda, mobilization, and support for women to participate in sorting and treating waste at source and limiting the use of plastic bags in Nghe An province in the period of 2023 - 2027" and the project "Propaganda, mobilization, and support for women to build OCOP products"; promote and connect the consumption of goods to contribute to the transformation of the local economy in the period of 2023 - 2027".

Another highlight in the first half of the term, the association at all levels promoted propaganda, consultation, and legal aid activities on marriage and family, land, and social issues related to women and children, especially victims of domestic violence, victims of trafficking, and unsafe migration... Innovating, creating, gathering, and attracting new members to the association through establishing and maintaining many models, clubs, and organizing competitions, forums, exchanges, and talks on preventing and combating human trafficking; preventing and combating violence and child abuse on the internet; preventing and combating domestic violence; reproductive health care; building happy families... Through the above activities, we have improved the knowledge of cadres, members, and women; and created an environment to attract women to participate in the association.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa:What needs to be shared about the guiding ideology of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress and the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Women's Congress is to always innovate and be creative in methods and ways of operation and to diversify and enrich the content; to take cadres, members and women as the central subjects of the women's movement and union activities; to direct issues to the grassroots. At the same time, always encourage the dynamism and creativity of the union's staff; to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation, both to ensure efficiency and to spread union activities and women's movements.

Focus on directing all levels of the association to concretize the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", therefore, the style, manners and working style of association cadres continue to be innovated according to the criteria "3 right, 4 yes, 5 must" - (3 right: right ideology, right orientation, right work; 4 yes: enthusiastic, qualified, responsible, with a spirit of solidarity and association; 5 must: must be exemplary; must be close and help each other; must be confident, self-respecting, loyal, responsible; must respect the law; must protect the prestige and honor of the association).
Along with that, many good models, new and creative ways of doing things have been implemented and spread. Such as the model of "Responsible Association Officer"; "Exemplary Association Officer"; "Practicing thrift"; "Household Visit Diary"; "Current Events Club"; "Women meeting 4 standards"; "Doing 1 good deed every day"; "15+1"; "3 clear, 3 help"; "Diary of going to the grassroots"... have created a spread, promoting the women's movement and Association work at all levels.

What is worth noting in the first half of the term is the concern, dedication, overcoming difficulties, promoting the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant among the staff of the association at all levels in the province. This is demonstrated through connecting and mobilizing social resources to care for members, poor women and children. Particularly, mobilizing among cadres, members and women through the models of "Practicing thrift", "Mutual love and support", "Rice savings jar"...; there have been more than 11 billion VND, nearly 22,000 kg of rice, more than 31,000 bowls of charity porridge, 3,000 banh chung, more than 33,000 working days..., supporting and helping members, poor women, and students in difficult circumstances to rise up in life.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa:With the motto "Where there are women, there are association activities", all levels of the Association need to continue to closely follow the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress, the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Women's Congress, attaching the political tasks of the province, each sector, locality, and unit to continue to concretize and implement creatively and effectively; strive to complete the targets and tasks of the entire congress term at the highest level.

Continue to improve the quality of supervision, social criticism and policy proposals for women's organizations and women in accordance with the actual situation in the locality; organize dialogue activities between Party committees, authorities, women's organizations and women's members; promptly speak up to protect and participate in resolving cases of women and children whose legitimate rights and interests are violated.
From now until the end of the remaining term of 2021-2026, it requires women's unions at all levels in the province to continue to unite, make efforts, innovate, and be responsible to overcome difficulties and complete the highest targets and tasks by the end of the term.
