Ambush and capture a group of guards who specialize in night robberies

"Robbing because they like to show off that they are gangsters" - that was the thought of the group of night robbers who were recently ambushed and captured by the Criminal Police Team in coordination with Xuan Dinh Police Station, Bac Tu Liem District Police, Hanoi.

Previously, on March 31 and April 1, Xuan Dinh Police Station continuously received reports from victims, mainly students who returned home late from work after 12:00 p.m. and were attacked by a group of 4 people using 2 motorbikes and robbed of their laptops and cell phones.

Given the seriousness of the incident, Xuan Dinh Police Station reported to the Bac Tu Liem District Police Command and the District Police Commander requested the Criminal Police Team to increase forces, coordinate with Xuan Dinh Police Station to ambush and capture the night robbery group.

Early morning of April 2, when the Xuan Dinh Police Station and the Criminal Police Team were patrolling on Pham Van Dong Street, they discovered 4 young men driving 2 motorbikes, one of which had no license plate, and were asked to conduct an administrative check. The subjects were unable to present their identification papers or vehicle papers, so the task force took them to the police station to investigate and clarify the matter.

At the police station, the four suspects, Phung Quang Huy (born in 1999); Ta Minh Quy (born in 1999); Bui Duc Tuan (born in 1997), Nguyen Duc Duy (born in 1995), all residing in Co Nhue 2 ward, Bac Tu Liem district, admitted that they were the perpetrators of several robberies and one theft in the area after midnight.

Every time they commit a crime, this group of people often carry knives, block the front of the car, use their hands, feet, and helmets to hit the victim to rob property.

Between March 28 and their arrest, they committed one theft and three robberies involving motorbikes, phones, and electric bicycles. They sold some of the stolen items to get money to spend, while the rest were left at their motel in Co Nhue 2 Ward.

Among these four subjects are Ta Minh Quy and Bui Duc Tuan, who are security guards for several companies in the area. Just because they followed their bad friends, Tuan and Quy may now face a severe sentence.
