Gold-plated pizza costs $2,000 for the rich
A restaurant in New York has just introduced to diners a pizza covered in 24-karat gold leaf.
Industry Kitchen (New York, USA) has just added to its menu a gold-plated pizza that costs up to $2,000. If the pizza is cut into 8 pieces, each piece will cost $250, so diners will spend about $50 for a bite.

The restaurant's pizzas are topped with 24-karat Ecuadorian gold, British Stilton cheese, French foie gras and white truffles, and Ossetra caviar from the Caspian Sea. The wood-fired pie is also made with seafood, lobster, and truffle oil.
Chef Braulio Bunay said that Industry Kitchen is located near New York's Wall Street, so this dish is really for the rich. This is also the inspiration for creating this expensive pizza. Diners must order 48 hours in advance if they want to enjoy the restaurant's gold-plated pizza.
