Putin calls on the losing side in the US election to accept defeat
The losers of the US presidential election must accept defeat and relations between Moscow and Washington will become easier - Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview with the Figaro newspaper.

"The losers in the US presidential election do not want to accept that they really lost, that the winner turned out to be closer to the people, this person better understands the wishes of voters in the US. They do not want to accept this. They want to explain to themselves and those around them that their policy was correct and that someone deceived them," Mr. Putin said.
“When this happens, I think it will become easier for people to work together,” the Russian president added.
“Let them quarrel and argue who is superior, smarter, and who is better to build a policy for their country – Why are they dragging third countries into this? This is very sad,” Putin stressed.
