Russian President Vladimir Putin has fired eight generals from the Russian Interior Ministry and Investigative Committee.

Russia will create a database of officials dismissed for loss of trust. The corresponding decree was published on the official legal information portal.
In the Investigative Committee, President Putin's Decree dismissed Major General Dmitry Shershakov, Deputy Director of the General Department of Inspection Procedures in the field of anti-corruption, and Major General Vitaly Frolov, Deputy Director of the General Department of Operational Guarantees.
Also leaving their posts are Major General Vyacheslav Andreev - Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Vadim Antonov - Director of the Federal Police of the Krasnoyarsk region, Lieutenant General Vasily Bykadorov - Deputy Director of the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major General Pyotr Ivanov - Director of the Emergency Situations of the Orenburg region, Major General Alexey Laushkin - Deputy Director of the General Directorate of the Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Major General Alexander Tiskovsky, head of the Investigation Department of the Tambov region.
