President Putin visited a factory in Russia that is researching and producing an anti-aging drug that can help people live to 130 years old.

Russian President Vladimir Putinwith his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan NazarbayevYesterday visited the Biocad plant, Russia's leading advanced biotechnology company in St Petersburgis researching an anti-aging drug and a cancer drug, according toTass.

"We expect to have results of anti-aging drug research within the next year," scientist Alexander Karabelsk introduced Biocad's research to the two leaders.

"Our goal is not only to prolong human life, but also to improve the quality of life and help people look younger than their age," Karabelsk said.

The drug could help reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, the two leading causes of death worldwide. If clinical trials are successful, the anti-aging drug could extend human life expectancy to 130 in the next 20-30 years.
