"Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces continued unsuccessful attempts to conduct offensive operations in the southern direction - Donetsk and Zaporozhye, as well as in the area of the city of Artemovsk," the ministry stressed.

As the Defense Ministry specifically said, near Yablonevo and Novopokrovka in the Zaporozhye region, the Vostok group repelled two attacks by Ukrainian troops with a force of nearly one battalion. In addition, in the Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka areas, two Ukrainian armored columns were destroyed.

"In the Zaporozhye direction, by active actions of units of the Vostok group, strikes by army aviation and artillery repulsed two enemy attacks with a force of up to 1 battalion, reinforced by tanks, in the direction of the settlements of Yabloneve and Novopokrovka in the Zaporozhye region. In addition, in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlements of Novodanilovka and Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region, 2 enemy armored columns were defeated," the Defense Ministry reported.
On the Vremevsky cliff - the Ministry said that the enemy launched three unsuccessful attacks, each with a force of up to 1 motorized infantry company, on the settlements of Levadnoye, Zaporozhye province, Storozhevoye and Neskuchnoye of the Donetsk People's Republic.
"Thanks to the courageous and decisive actions of the units of the Vostok military group, all enemy attacks were repelled," the Defense Ministry said.
