Military Region 4 resolves policies for over 7,700 subjects.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 10, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 summarized the implementation of Directive No. 523-CT/QUTW dated December 2, 2011 of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission on strengthening leadership and direction of policy work for the Army and the Army's rear in the period 2011 - 2015.

Over the past 5 years, agencies, units and localities under Military Region 4 have regularly led, directed, guided and strictly and seriously implemented Directive 523, achieving good results.

Accordingly, the Military Region has resolved policies for over 7,700 subjects; issued health insurance cards to over 11 million relatives of officers, soldiers, and police; visited and presented gifts to over 2,600 policy subjects; organized the search and collection of 2,136 martyrs' remains; mobilized contributions to the "Repaying gratitude" Fund; the "For the poor" Fund received 23 billion VND and built over 350 gratitude houses, one hundred dong houses and union shelter houses.

On this occasion, the Military Region 4 Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 groups for their outstanding achievements in policy work for the Army and the Army's rear during the 2011-2015 period.
