Military Region 4 presents the Lao Army with more than 2 billion VND to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic

On the morning of April 23, at Lao Bao Border Gate, Quang Tri Province, the Military Region 4 Command organized a ceremony to present the first batch of essential medical equipment to the Lao People's Army, contributing to helping them effectively prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

Attending the ceremony were Major General Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Commander of the Military Region; Major General Phan Van Sy - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Military Region; Colonel Duong Minh Hien - Deputy Commander of the Military Command of Nghe An province; Colonel Kham Nho Lin Som Phu - Division Commander of Division 4 on behalf of the Lao People's Army attended and received the gift from Military Region 4.

On behalf of the Party Committee of Military Region 4 Command, Major General Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Commander of the Military Region presented to the Lao People's Army equipment for Covid-19 prevention and control, including: 2,000 kg of 70% Chlorine chemicals, 4,000 sets of anti-epidemic clothing, 80,000 4-layer medical masks, 72,000 cloth masks, 800 N95 masks, 3,600 bottles of quick-disinfectant solution, 16 electric sprayers and 64 pump nozzles with a total value of more than 2 billion VND.

Congratulating Vietnam on its initial success in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, the Commander of Division 4 of the Lao People's Army thanked the officers and soldiers of Military Region 4 for their concern and affection for the Lao People's Army. This gift is of great significance in helping the Lao Party, Government, army and people defeat the Covid-19 pandemic, while demonstrating the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

On this occasion, Women of Military Region 4 also presented 30,000 medical masks worth more than 120 million VND to the Lao People's Army./.
