(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 2nd session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, on the afternoon of July 8, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien had a meeting with voters in Dien Hoa commune, Dien Chau district.

Also attending the meeting were delegates of Dien Chau District People's Council and voters of Dien Hoa, Dien Hanh and Dien Quang communes.

At the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien informed voters of the results of the first session and the expected content, program, and time of the second session of the 17th Provincial People's Council; some information on the socio-economic situation, security and defense in the first 6 months of 2016.

After hearing information about the activities of the Provincial People's Council, voters participated in speaking with the following contents: it is necessary to have a plan to inspect and examine projects using capital from the state budget but not bringing efficiency in the area; the construction of new rural areas must mobilize large resources from the people, which is not really effective, it is recommended not to chase after achievements when implementing new rural areas; the implementation of housing support policies for meritorious people is not timely; the policies for meritorious people are still low, it is recommended to study and increase the support level; inadequacies in the assessment of subjects infected with Agent Orange...

With the efforts of the State and people, educational activities are taken care of for children to study.

In particular, voters in Dien Quang commune reported the environmental pollution caused by pesticides at Dien Quang primary school, which seriously affected the learning and teaching of students and teachers. Currently, teachers and students are having to work overtime due to lack of classrooms. Voters recommended that all levels and sectors urgently take action to find a timely solution.
