Turning around on a forbidden road, taxi was hit by a truck

(Baonghean.vn)- While turning around on a prohibited road, a taxi was suddenly hit from behind by a truck, causing the driver to lose control of his speed and crash into the median strip, severely damaging the front of the car.

The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. on November 25 on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Hau commune, Quynh Luu district.

Witnesses to the accident said that at the time, taxi with license plate 37A-35670 was traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh. When reaching km 403, it intentionally turned left to make a U-turn where turning was not allowed. Suddenly, a truck with license plate 50C - 30954 hit the right rear.

The strong collision caused the taxi to lose control, hit the median strip, and spin 180 degrees. As a result, the front of the taxi was crushed, pieces of the tire were scattered all over the road, and a tire on the truck also exploded. Fortunately, the driver only suffered minor injuries. Traffic on the road was temporarily blocked.

Immediately after the accident, Quynh Luu traffic police were present in time to direct traffic, find the cause, and handle the incident.
