Que Ngoc Hai and Trong Hoang officially signed contracts with SLNA

January 13, in Hanoi,Que Ngoc HaiandTrong Hoanghas officially signed a contract withSLNA Clubfor a period of 3 years (from 2022 - 2024). The signing bonus and salary were not disclosed by both parties.

After having a new sponsor, SLNA Club has implemented many actions to bring satisfaction to fans. Specifically, the Nghe An team's facilities have been invested in, renovated and renewed; Vinh Stadium system has been renovated and upgraded, meeting the criteria of a leading professional football club in Vietnam. In addition, the club has improved the nutritional regime for the players.

In particular, before the new season, the Nghe An team has renewed and signed new contracts with many quality players, bringing depth to the SLNA team.

It can be seen that Ngoc Hai and Trong Hoang are two stars of Vietnamese football. In recent years, both players have always been the number 1 choice of coach Park Hang-seo for the official position in the national team. Having these two "blockbusters" will help coach Nguyen Huy Hoang complete the important pieces in the SLNA squad.

Center-back Que Ngoc Hai was born in 1993, a player who grew up from the SLNA training center. During his years playing for the Nghe An team, "Hai Que" was known to the audience as a leader in the defense line, and he and SLNA won the National Cup in 2017. After his contract with the Nghe An team expired in December 2018, Que Ngoc Hai joined Viettel Club. He and the army team won the V.League championship in 2020. Also in this year, the former SLNA captain won the Vietnam Bronze Ball title.

Similar to Ngoc Hai, Trong Hoang also started his football career with the yellow team. In 2013, the player born in 1989 said goodbye to the Nghe An team to join Becamex Binh Duong.

At the end of 2016, after ending his contract with the Go Dau team, Trong Hoang signed a contract to play for the FLC Thanh Hoa team. In February 2019, Trong Hoang officially signed a contract to play for the Viettel team.

While playing for the Nghe An team, the player born in 1989 was assigned to play as a winger. Here, he and SLNA won the V.League championship in 2011. In 2020, the player born in 1989 also won the V.League championship with Viettel.

At the ceremony, representing SLNA Club, Mr. Truong Manh Linh - General Director signed with Que Ngoc Hai and Trong Hoang. After joining the Nghe An team, Ngoc Hai will wear the number 3 shirt, Trong Hoang will wear the number 9 shirt.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Truong Sy Ba - Chairman of SLNA Club congratulated Ngoc Hai and Trong Hoang on returning to their hometown team. He wished the two new recruits to achieve many results, contribute wholeheartedly, unite, and help SLNA team develop more and more. In addition, with the experience gained, the two Nghe An players will lead the juniors in the first team and the youth team to become more mature in the future.

The President of SLNA Club hopes that when the players return, together with the Club's Board of Directors and all athletes, they will realize the dream of making SLNA develop more and more, contributing to the development of the homeland's football as well as Vietnamese football, satisfying the trust and expectations of the fans.

Expressing their feelings when returning to their hometown team, the two players said that SLNA is the place that gave wings to their dream of becoming a professional football player. Therefore, the two players have a lot of affection for the club. Que Ngoc Hai and Trong Hoang are very happy to have returned here, not daring to promise a specific goal but they will try their best for the flag and colors of their hometown team.
