The National Assembly discussed the results of thematic supervision on real estate market management and value added tax.
During the second working week of the 8th Session (from October 28 to November 1), the National Assembly discussed many important issues such as the results of thematic supervision on real estate market management; the amended Law on Value Added Tax; and the establishment of Hue City under the Central Government.
The National Assembly spent most of its working time on Monday (October 28) discussing in the hall the report of the monitoring delegation and the draft resolution on the results of the thematic monitoring of "the implementation of policies and laws on real estate market management and social housing development from 2015 to the end of 2023".
Government members will explain and clarify a number of issues related to real estate market management and social housing development. The meeting will be televised and broadcast live for voters and the public to follow.
On the same day, the Minister of National Defense, authorized by the Prime Minister, presented a report on the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army. Afterwards, National Assembly deputies discussed the draft law in groups.
Notably, during the week, the National Assembly discussed in the hall a number of contents with different opinions in the Draft Law on Value Added Tax Amendment. The submitting agency and the agency in charge of reviewing coordinated to explain and clarify a number of issues raised by delegates.
