Quy Hop: 1,891 people received gifts from the President on July 27

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017, Quy Hop district had 1,891 people receive gifts from the President and the district allocated budget to support policy families.

Of which, 46 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids and sick soldiers with a loss of 81% or more of their working capacity were given 46 gifts, each worth 400,000 VND, and 1,845 war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with toxic chemicals, imprisoned by the enemy and other policy families were given gifts worth 200,000 VND each, with a total amount of 387.4 million VND.

In addition, Quy Hop district also allocated nearly 400 million VND from the district's Gratitude Fund to plant new grass and trees at the martyrs' cemetery and support Chau Ly commune to build a new martyrs' memorial and support Van Loi commune to renovate the martyrs' memorial.

On this occasion, Quy Hop district also allocated 18 million VND from the budget to visit and give gifts to 30 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and typical policy families in the area, each gift worth 600,000 VND./.
