Quy Hop: Official list of 67 candidates for district People's Council delegates

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 13, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Hop district held the 3rd consultation conference, establishing an official list of 67 people qualified to run for the 18th term of the District People's Council, 2016-2021 term.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the results of organizing the collection of opinions and trust from voters at the place of residence of candidates for the 18th District People's Council, term 2016-2021.

The 3rd consultative conference unanimously approved the official list of 67 qualified candidates for the District People's Council election for the 2016-2021 term. Of which, 40.29% are women, 50.74% are ethnic minorities, 10.4% are non-Party members, 29.85% are young people, and 23.88% are re-elected.

The third consultation conference has concluded the 5-step process of consultation, selection and introduction of candidates for the district People's Council. According to the law, before the election of the 14th National Assembly and the election of the People's Councils at all levels, the candidates for the district People's Council will have meetings with voters to campaign for the election, from April 14 to April 28, 2016.
