Quynh Luu: Nearly 90% of cooperatives have converted according to the 2012 Cooperative Law

(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, Quynh Luu district has 52/58 cooperatives converted according to the 2012 Law on Cooperatives - the leading unit in the province in converting according to the Law on Cooperatives.In general, after conversion, cooperatives all operate effectively.

Quynh Luu district has 110 cooperative groups, with 678 members and 65 active cooperatives, with a total of nearly 65 thousand members. The activities of cooperative groups and cooperatives are relatively stable, quite dynamic with many diverse forms of production, business and service.

Currently, Quynh Luu district has 52/58 cooperatives converting their operating forms and implementing the 2012 Law on Cooperatives; reaching a rate of 89.7%. Of these, 42 cooperatives have completed their dossiers and been granted cooperative registration certificates.

In general, after converting, cooperatives' production and business activities are more effective than before, contributing to increasing income for members and promoting the economic restructuring of the locality.

According to the report, in the whole Quynh Luu district, there are about 3-4 cooperatives operating effectively, earning profits of 600-700 million VND/year such as Lam Cau Agricultural Service Cooperative; Bac Son Agricultural Service Cooperative; Son Lam Agricultural Service Cooperative... and about 25-30 cooperatives earning profits of about 200-300 million VND/year.
