Quynh Luu: Punishing 822 cases of traffic safety violations

(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 3 months of 2016, Quynh Luu District Police recorded 822 cases of traffic safety violations, temporarily detained 6 agricultural vehicles, 469 motorbikes; and imposed administrative fines of more than 481 million VND.

Violating vehicles are temporarily detained at Quynh Luu District Police for handling according to the law.

Implementing the armed patrol plan to ensure security and order, traffic safety of the Provincial Police, the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police coordinated with the Mobile Police to patrol and control traffic safety on National Highway 1A, 48B and Provincial Road 537B.

During the Traffic Safety Month (February 15 - March 29), the Traffic Police Team (Quynh Luu District Police) detected and handled more than 100 traffic violations. The violations were mainly caused by young people driving without helmets, carrying more people than allowed, weaving and swerving on the road.

From January to March 29, the Traffic Police Team (Quynh Luu District Police) organized 164 patrols and controlled traffic safety on the road with 925 officers and soldiers; recorded and fined 822 cases. Temporarily detained 6 agricultural vehicles, 469 motorbikes; administratively fined 772 cases, with a total amount of over 481 million VND.
