According to our observations from 4:00 p.m. to nearly 5:00 p.m. on November 10, 2018, on the Ho Chi Minh road through Tan Ky district, many large and small piles of household waste appeared. The piles of waste were concentrated along the road through the areas of Block 6, Lat town, Ky Son commune and part of Tan Huong commune.

There are large piles of garbage spilling out onto the road in Block 6, Lat town. The garbage piles give off an unpleasant stench. This is also the time when many students cycle on their way home from school. Traffic is also quite heavy.

According to residents in Hamlet 4, Ky Son Commune, an area adjacent to Lat Town, these are "designated" garbage collection points and people often have the habit of gathering garbage on the roadside so that transport vehicles can come and pick it up. |

It was the weekend so we did not have the opportunity to contact the local authorities. However, we think that people dumping garbage on the road not only creates an ugly impression in the area but also the stench from the garbage piles can easily harm the health of passersby.
