Real Madrid could lose Isco in the big match against Atletico
Real's star midfielder was injured in a friendly between Spain and Costa Rica.
Spain crushed Costa Rica 5-0, but the joy was not complete when Isco was injured and had to leave the field in the 65th minute. The Real star was left on the field by a fierce tackle from Kendall Watson.
Coach Julen Lopetegui has left Isco out of the trip to Russia for a friendly against the 2018 World Cup hosts. The 25-year-old player immediately returned to Madrid for a medical examination. According to Marca, this injury could keep Isco out of Real's derby against Atletico on November 18.

Coach Zidane is having a headache because his attack is not scoring goals, and Isco's absence, if it becomes a reality, will make the situation even more bleak. This season, Isco has been a regular starter while Gareth Bale is injured.
In case Isco cannot recover in time, coach Zidane is likely to let Marco Asensio take his place. This is also the player who replaced Isco in the match between Spain and Costa Rica.
Real have the same 23 points after 11 rounds as Atletico, but are ranked third in La Liga thanks to a better goal difference. The two Madrid teams are eight points behind Barca.
