On September 18, information from the authorities of Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing a 4-year-old girl.death.
Accordingly, at around 8:30 a.m. on September 16, while playing at home, PTHY (4 years old), residing in hamlet 12, Dien Yen commune, unfortunately fell into the pond behind his house.
Upon discovering the incident, the family quickly took the victim to the Phu Dien Hospital for emergency treatment. However, seeing that the child's condition was getting worse, the family transferred the child to a hospital in Vinh City.
By September 17, Y. could not survive, so his family took him home for burial according to local customs.
