Ronaldo promises his teammates he will win La Liga's top scorer title

Having only scored one goal in the first 11 rounds, the Real striker still assured his teammates that he will still be the league's best scorer by the end of the season.

Speaking to Marca's El Transistor channel on November 7, journalist Jose Ramon de la Morena quoted a close source as saying that Ronaldo had assured his teammates that he would still win the Pichichi. This is the title awarded to the player who scores the most goals in La Liga each season.

Ronaldo has won the Pichichi award three times in the 2010-2011, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons. Messi has won it more than once and is the current holder, having won it in the 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2012-2013 and 2016-2017 seasons.
