Rosaviatsia: No basis to conclude cause of Russian plane crash
According to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, the Russian Federal Aviation Agency (Rosaviatsia) said it has no basis to conclude that the Russian plane crash in Egypt was caused by technical failure, crew error or external influences.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail also said that the cause of the plane crash could not be determined until the black box containing the plane's data was analyzed.
Earlier, security sources said Egyptian search and rescue forces had found the black box of the plane with registration number 7K9268.
According to these security sources, preliminary investigation at the scene showed that the cause of the plane crash was due to a technical error.
The plane crashed vertically, breaking into large pieces and catching fire, the sources said. About 150 bodies, many of them badly burned, were found within a 5km radius of the crash site.
Regarding the search and rescue work, speaking at a press conference in Cairo, Mr. Ismail said the chance of finding survivors in this plane crash is almost gone and a Russian investigation team will arrive in Egypt on the evening of October 31 (local time).
Egypt is also preparing to welcome the families of the unfortunate victims./.
