Previously, on November 17, Nghi Loc District Police received a report from Ms. Le Thi Thoa (born in 1988), residing in Hamlet 12, Nghi Truong Commune, Nghi Loc District, stating that at 8:00 p.m. on November 16, her house was broken into by Tran Van Chinh (born in 2001), the son of a neighbor living across the street, and a young man who broke in to steal an Iphone 5. When discovered, the two subjects ran away.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal - Economic - Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Nghi Loc Police conducted an investigation. After collecting information, the investigation agency determined that Tran Van Chinh and Nguyen Minh Duc were the two subjects of the phone theft at Ms. Le Thi Thoa's house on the evening of November 16.

At the investigation agency, Chinh and Duc confessed that they were both addicted to games. Knowing that Ms. Thoa often carried a handbag with a lot of money, so when they left the game store and saw that no one was home, Chinh asked Duc to go in and steal the money. Inside the house, the two subjects did not see Ms. Thoa's usual handbag but saw a black Iphone 5 on the bed. Duc quickly grabbed the phone and put it in his pocket.

When they reached the door, they saw Ms. Thoa coming home. After asking and being excused by Chinh for being at his house, Ms. Thoa went inside to check and discovered that the Iphone 5 was gone. When Ms. Thoa came back out to ask Chinh about the phone, Chinh told Duc to leave the Iphone 5 he had just stolen on the window and then they both ran outside.

Because Tran Van Chinh is only 15 years old, he was only administratively punished. Nguyen Minh Duc was prosecuted for criminal liability according to the law. Currently, the case is being investigated by the authorities./.
