Two best friends went to jail after buying heroin together
(Baonghean.vn) - Hung drove a motorbike carrying Thanh from Nghia Dan to Quy Hop to buy 500,000 VND worth of heroin, but before he could use it, he was arrested by Nghia Dan District Police.
On the morning of April 1, Nghia Dan District People's Court opened a public mobile trial of the case of Nguyen The Hung and Nguyen Van Thanh (both residing in Nghia Thinh Commune, Nghia Dan District) for illegal possession of drugs.

According to the indictment of the People's Procuracy of Nghia Dan district: At about 12:30 on December 22, 2015, Thanh invited Hung to buy heroin for use. Hung agreed. Hung drove motorbike with license plate 37B2-302.08 to take Thanh to Quy Hop district to buy heroin.
When arriving at the Quy Hop district bus station, Hung bought a package of heroin from a man named Dung for 500,000 VND. He then divided it into 2 small packages, each keeping one package in his warm jacket pocket.
When they reached the road section in Hamlet 11, Nghia Trung Commune, Nghia Dan District, they were caught red-handed by Nghia Dan District Police, who seized a package of heroin weighing 0.35 grams from Nguyen The Hung's warm coat pocket and a package of heroin weighing 0.28 grams from Nguyen Van Thanh's warm coat pocket.
At the trial, considering that the defendants Nguyen The Hung and Nguyen Van Thanh had honestly bowed their heads and admitted their guilt, applying Clause 1, Article 194 of the Penal Code, the panel sentenced Nguyen The Hung to 32 months in prison and Nguyen Van Thanh to 27 months in prison.
