Recently, Saigon FC suddenly announced that they will still use the same name to compete in the 2022 National First Division and will choose Lam Dong as their home stadium.

Saigon FC announced that it would transfer to Lam Dong province. However, recently, instead of registering the club name as Lam Dong, Saigon FC issued an official dispatch to keep the old name and still participate in the National First Division and National Cup. This team even chose Da Lat Stadium (No. 1 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Ward 7, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province) as its home stadium to host matches in the 2023 season.
