Morning of May 12: 33 more community cases in 6 provinces and cities
(Baonghean.vn) - The Ministry of Health on the morning of May 12 recorded 34 positive cases of nCoV, of which 33 were recorded domestically and 1 case was quarantined immediately after entering the country.
The number of new cases in the quarantine area is 21. The number of new cases in the locked down area is 8, and the number of new cases in the locked down hospital is 4. No new outbreaks were detected.
The total number of community infections from April 27 to now is 562, recorded in 26 provinces and cities. Specifically, Hanoi has 153 cases (including 84 cases at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, 13 cases at K Hospital), Bac Ninh 119, Bac Giang 70, Vinh Phuc 73, Da Nang 60, Hung Yen 19, Ha Nam 16, Thai Binh 8, Hai Duong 7, Hoa Binh 5, Lang Son 6, Thua Thien Hue 4, Quang Nam 3, Quang Tri 3, Dak Lak 2, Dien Bien 2, Nam Dinh 3, Dong Nai, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Phu Tho, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Yen Bai each has 1 case.

In Nam Dinh:
Case 3538, male, 12 years old, residing in Truc Ninh district, is F1 of case 3126. The above patient was previously quarantined. The test result on May 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently quarantined and treated at Truc Ninh District Medical Center.In Bac Giang:
Cases 3539, 3542, 3550, 3558, 3560, 3571 are all related to the previous outbreak at SJ Tech Company. Test results on May 11 showed that the patients were positive for nCoV. The patients are currently being isolated and treated at the Bac Giang Field Hospital.
In Da Nang:
Cases 3540-3541, 3543-3547 are F1 related to the old outbreak, have been isolated, and are continuing to be investigated for the disease. Test results on May 9 showed that the patients were positive for nCoV.
In Lang Son:
Case 3549, female, 33 years old, address in Trang Dinh district, with a history of traveling to Mao Dien commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province, proactively went to make a medical declaration. The test result on May 11 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being isolated and treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.
In Vinh Phuc:
Cases 3555-3557, 3559, 3561-3569 are all related to the Sunny Bar outbreak. The above patients were previously quarantined. The test results on May 10 were positive for nCoV. The patients are currently being quarantined and treated at the Vinh Phuc Provincial Field Hospital.
In Hanoi:
Cases 3551-3554 recorded at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2, include 2 medical staff and 2 patients who have been isolated in the hospital.
Case 3570 recorded in Hanoi is F1 of case 3093. Test results on May 11 showed the patient was positive for nCoV.
One case was isolated immediately after entry:
Case 3548 was quarantined immediately after entering Da Nang, male, 24 years old, address in Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province. On April 21, the patient entered Da Nang Airport from Russia on flight VN5062 and was immediately quarantined. The test result on May 10 was positive for nCoV. The patient is currently being quarantined and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.
