Widespread pests on rice, Que Phong supports 50% of pesticide price

(Baonghean.vn) - Pests and diseases have appeared on a large scale in Que Phong. To proactively prevent pests, the People's Committee of Que Phong district has a policy of supporting 50% of the price of pesticides for people who spray them in time.

Mr. Le Van Quang - Head of the Plant Protection Station of Que Phong district said: Up to now, nearly 1,500 hectares of Que Phong's summer-autumn rice have been infected with brown planthoppers and white-backed planthoppers. In addition, many areas have black-striped dwarf disease at a low rate.

To promptly prevent pests and diseases in rice, the District People's Committee has a policy to support 50% of the price of pesticides for farmers to spray. Accordingly, the District People's Committee has assigned the Plant Protection Station to promptly supply pesticides to the communes, then the communes will distribute pesticides to each village.

The insecticides provided by Que Phong Plant Protection Station include 2 types: Victory 585ec 50ml sprayed on areas with high density of planthoppers and black-striped dwarf disease; Sutin 5ec 30ml sprayed on areas with light and medium infection.
