After losing weight, Siu Black 'thought she had lost her singing voice'
Returning home empty-handed, in 5 years, Siu Black lost 20 kg. But there were times when her jaws were so stiff that she thought she could no longer sing.
After the debt scandal, returning to the arms of her family, Siu Black chose to live a quiet life, away from all the hustle and bustle and learned to forget her once luxurious hobbies.
To balance her life, she admitted that since the incident, she only dared to look down on people in worse circumstances than her to feel lighter. "There are still many people in life who are more miserable than me. Just accept it, don't complain anymore," Siu Black confided.

At that time, Siu Black's life was really difficult. She lost her career, money, friends, and her health and singing voice also deteriorated.
There was a time when Siu Black thought she could no longer sing. "At that time, my jaws were stiff, and it hurt to even open my mouth, so how could I sing? I knelt before God and cried out loud: 'God, you took everything from me. I accept that, but please give me my voice back. I will start over'," Siu Black said. After that, she practiced and joined the Kon Tum Choir and gradually regained her singing voice.
"Many people don't know and think I'm fine, but in reality, I have to try very hard and get very tired to be able to sing," the singer said. Having regained her voice, Siu Black participated in church performances and received encouragement and sharing from everyone to confidently move forward. "Well, I leave it to God. Whatever God gives me, I do. Wherever God lets me sing, I sing there," Siu said.
In Kon Tum, she doesn't perform often and has no income, but the "mountain nightingale" still maintains her professional principle: she doesn't accept to sing at weddings even if someone offers her 15-20 million VND. "Many people see that and tell me to 'cut my coat according to my cloth' because my situation is different from before, but that's my principle since I started working and doesn't mean anything, it's just my personal opinion. Without money, I don't sing at weddings. If I sing, I ask for a decent salary. I only like to sing at the weddings of friends and relatives," Ms. Siu confided.
Siu Black covers her living expenses by singing in the local church choir or occasionally appearing in small shows. In her free time, the singer helps her family with farming, growing coffee and rubber, and selling lingzhi mushrooms. She said: "If you have little, spend little, and are satisfied with a simple life, then everything is fine." During her days in the countryside, Siu Black doesn't go anywhere or buy anything, so she doesn't worry about money.

Recent,Siu Black returnsin a youthful and radiant appearance. She revealed that the big change in appearance actually stemmed from her fear of illness. When Siu retired, she also faced many illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach pain, and bone and joint pain.
"Before, when I sang, the audience cheered and loved me, many people joked 'that's how you love being fat, that's how Siu Black is' but in reality, I had many sleepless nights because of joint pain and difficulty walking," the female singer said.
For two years, Siu Black followed a strict diet to improve her health. She cut down on starch, added green vegetables and fruits, and drank 5-6 liters of water every day. Although she did not have as much money as when her career was at its peak, Siu still beautified herself with inexpensive methods. She applied common skin creams but massaged her skin diligently to keep it youthful. "I taught this secret to my whole family, so my second sister is 60 years old but her facial skin is very beautiful, tight and rosy," Siu said.
The Tay Nguyen singer boasted that recently, many TV stations invited her to sing. Meeting everyone again and feeling the love of the audience for her, Siu Black was both happy and emotional. "Just the other day, I was so happy, singing at Dong Thap TV station. The ladies and gentlemen kept calling out loudly: 'Siu Black, Siu Black. Why are you so sick?', I laughed and replied: 'I'm hungry'".
