There will be an additional train pair from Hanoi to Vinh during the September 2nd holiday.
According to the representative of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), to serve people traveling during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, the railway industry has set up more local trains on the routes.
Hanoi Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will add more trains to Lao Cai, Vinh, and Dong Hoi; of which the Hanoi - Lao Cai route will add train SP7 departing from Hanoi on September 1 and train SP8 departing from Lao Cai on September 4.

The Hanoi - Vinh route will add train NA3 departing from Hanoi on September 1 and train NA4 departing from Vinh on September 4. The Hanoi - Dong Hoi route will add train QB1 departing from Hanoi on September 1 and train QB2 departing from Dong Hoi on September 4.
Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will operate more trains from Saigon to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon and vice versa.
On September 1, train SNT10 will depart from Saigon at 10:50 p.m. and arrive in Nha Trang at 8:05 a.m.; train SQN4 will depart from Saigon at 11:15 p.m. and arrive in Quy Nhon at 1:22 p.m.
On September 2, train SPT6 will depart Saigon at 8:20 am and arrive in Phan Thiet at 12:09 pm.
On September 4, train SNT11 will depart Nha Trang at 11:25 p.m. and arrive in Saigon at 8:45 a.m.; train SQN3 will depart Quy Nhon at 5:30 p.m. and arrive in Saigon at 8:12 a.m.; train SPT5 will depart Phan Thiet at 1:50 p.m. and arrive in Saigon at 6:02 p.m.
Previously, from 0:00 on August 15, Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company also implemented a policy of reducing ticket prices by up to 20% for passengers traveling on Thong Nhat passenger trains SE3/SE4, SE7/SE8, TN1/2, SE21/SE22; passenger trains in the SE25/SE26, SNT1/SNT2, SPT1/SPT2, N11/N12, SNT9/SNT6 sections.
