There will be 40 presentations at the Conference on the 100th Anniversary of the October Revolution in Russia.

(Baonghean.vn) -There will be 40 presentations at the Scientific Conference commemorating the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution in Russia, which will be held on November 2 in Nghe An.

The workshop with the theme "Russian October Revolution - historical stature, contemporary value, lessons for the Vietnamese revolution and Nghe An province today". Currently, 31 papers out of 40 registered papers have been received.

On the afternoon of October 2, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired a meeting to give opinions on the Plan to organize a scientific conference on the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution. This is a provincial-level workshop, identified as a period of activities, ideological education, and political mettle for cadres, party members and people of all walks of life on the goal of national independence associated with socialism, as well as strengthening confidence in the Party's leadership. In addition, the workshop contributes to raising awareness of the great significance of the Russian October Revolution.

Contributing to the content of the workshop, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Phuc Hop said that the Propaganda Department had proactively reviewed the content of the papers submitted to the workshop. Accordingly, the papers must closely follow the great historical significance and contemporary value of the Russian October Revolution - not only smashing the yoke of oppression and exploitation of the feudal regime and capitalism of Russia, but also entering human history as the greatest event of the 20th century.

At the same time, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department is stepping up propaganda work to celebrate the Russian October Revolution through organizing political and ideological activities in party cells with the theme "Historical significance and impact of the Russian October Revolution and real socialism on the Vietnamese revolution in the current period"; at the same time, directing propaganda for the anniversary in conferences, press briefings and on the media.

Also at the meeting, Principal of the Provincial Political School Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa said that currently, 31/40 papers from experts, officials, and party members have been received. The quality of the papers is assessed to be high quality, rich in content, closely following the content of the workshop.

For the workshop to take place as planned, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son requested: The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Political School need to complete all preparations for the workshop. It is noted that the workshop's content must be rich, the presentation format must be diverse, creative, effective and economical; the order of the presentations must be reasonable and logical.

In particular, the conference must affirm that the victory of the Russian October Revolution was a great feat of the proletariat around the world, especially for Vietnam, as President Ho Chi Minh stated: Like the brilliant sun, the October Revolution shone across five continents, awakening millions of oppressed and exploited people on earth.
