Will connect routes and tourist spots along the Ho Chi Minh trail
(Baonghean.vn) - That is one of the solutions to promote tourism development for the mountainous district of Tan Ky that was proposed at the meeting between the Director of Nghe An Department of Tourism and Tan Ky district on the afternoon of May 22.
On May 22, the delegation of Nghe An Department of Tourism led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department had a working session with the Standing Committee of Tan Ky District Party Committee on the implementation of Action Program No. 55 dated January 4, 2018 of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
Tan Ky is a low mountainous district with rich tourism resources with many beautiful, majestic and pristine natural landscapes. Currently, Tan Ky has 12 historical relics and 7 scenic spots and craft villages with the potential to attract tourists.

Implementing the action program of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Tan Ky district has issued plans and action programs on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
The district has promoted tourism propaganda, promotion and advertising in many forms; coordinated with consulting units to plan tourist attractions in the area such as: Tien Ky commune community tourism area; Bon waterfall in Tan Hop commune; Thung Khien cave cluster in Dong Van commune.

At the meeting, the delegation members highly appreciated the local cultural and tourism resources. Based on the advantages and difficulties mentioned, the two sides agreed on solutions for implementation in the coming time, including: Creating highlights, connecting routes and tourist spots along the Ho Chi Minh trail; promoting propaganda and promoting destinations; promoting community tourism development in Thai Minh village.

Concluding the meeting, the Director of the Department of Tourism requested the district to review and supplement specific, long-term, strategic planning; continue to call for investment in the area. The Department will support the district to complete the project to develop community tourism in Thai Minh village, Tien Ky commune.
