Green Fair will be held in early December

(Baonghean.vn) - From December 1 to 7, Nghe An will organize a Green Fair, agricultural products, handicrafts of cooperatives and craft villages in the province.

Participating in giving comments were representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture, Nghe An Newspaper, and Provincial Radio and Television Station.

According to the report of the provincial cooperative alliance, the Green Fair, agricultural products, and handicrafts of the cooperative and craft villages of the province will be held from December 1 to 7, 2017 at the Central Park on Truong Thi Street - Vinh City, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the provincial cooperative alliance.

The scale of the Fair includes 50 booths, up to now, 14/21 districts, cities and towns have registered to participate in the fair with 46 booths registered. Product groups include: Vegetables and fruits; rice of all kinds; seafood; craft village products; handicrafts; precious medicinal products; processed foods and directly processed instant products.

The purpose of the Fair is to introduce and provide high-quality agricultural, forestry and aquatic products, ensuring food safety and hygiene produced according to the supply chain of safe agricultural and food products of cooperatives and craft villages in the province to consumers.

Promote the consumption of agricultural, forestry, aquatic and handicraft products in the domestic market and seek output markets, sign contracts for the purchase and sale of goods, create opportunities for meetings, trade, exchanges and sharing of potentials and regional cultural characteristics of localities in the province and neighboring provinces.

Representatives of departments and branches have contributed some comments: The fair must have its own characteristics and identity; the booths must be decorated and arranged attractively. If a press conference is held before the fair, a joint meeting should be held between the Organizing Committee and representatives of press agencies. Regarding propaganda work, in addition to mass media, the Organizing Committee needs to increase propaganda on social networking sites.

Comrade Le Phuc An - Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union accepted the members' comments and suggested that the members connect with the Organizing Committee to make the fair successful.
