Serbia calls for recognition of Crimea as Russian

Serbian politicians say they want to recognize Crimea as part of Russia. Serbian MP Alexander Sheshel told the Izvestia publication.

The Serbian Radical Party has prepared a statement for the upcoming parliamentary session that is intended to emphasize the difference between Crimea's reunification with Russia and Kosovo's secession.

"Belgrad cannot wait for Russia's support on the disputed territorial issues if it does not recognize Russia's territorial integrity, so our party calls on the government to decide on this issue as soon as possible and recognize Crimea's reunification with Russia," Sheshel said.
